I purchased a Navigo Decouverte card the last time I was in Paris. I will return on September 16th, a Friday. My understanding is that I can reload the card on Friday, but I won't be able to use it until Monday morning, Sept 19th. The card, as I understand it, will be good until Sun, Sept 25, at midnight. And I can use it on Sat, September 24 to get to CDG and won't have to buy a separate RER ticket. Have I got it straight?

You can start using your ND pass any day, but if you pay for the week, the pass is good Monday through Sunday, so it makes sense to start using it on Monday.
We purchased the Navigo Decouverte pass when we were in Paris in June, even though we were there Wednesday through Sunday, it was so worth it!
We used it on buses too!
I wonder how long one can keep the ND pass?
I saved ours but don't know when we'll return to Paris!

At least 10 years -- we may find out err long as we have had one since they came out. I think there isn't any plan to retire 10 year old passes.
