Navigo card not working

Just returned from Paris.
On Saturday, 6/24,morning, I left my hotel, went to the nearest metro station, and the turnstile rejected my Navigo card. I thought it was good until Sat night? It had worked great all week. It was early in the morning. There was no one in the station and I was headed to CDG airport, so I just bought a ticket via the kiosk.

That's strange, sorry... The Navigo is good from Monday morning till Sunday at 23:59.

It should have worked. Is there a chance that you double-scanned it in the process of trying to get through the turnstile? The NaviGo will give a Red X if it thinks you're trying to send two people through with the same card.

I did get the red X and a loud buzz, but I didn't double scan. Just a glitch I guess. :-(

And I did have a grand trip, so this was just a tiny bump. Just perplexed.

It's possible that you encountered a machine that malfunctioned , trying a different one might have worked . Last week in Madrid , we hit two defective ones , side by side .

I've had that happen a few times over the years on various buses, but can't say I've ever had it happen on the metro. Glad you had the time to get yourself a ticket although it's a shame that you had to!
