Anyone have a good or bad experience with this hotel? I know the rooms are small and not ideal but any showstoppers. Any other suggestions for a 150 euro or less?
For a couple in sixties for four nights.
Thanks,

Thanks,
I stayed there back when it opened in 2009. It was close to the Les Filles du Calvaire metro stop and close to all of the great things in the Marais. My room, for 1 person, was just fine. In the summer it was a bit warm without air conditioning. At that time they offered a nice little breakfast and even a "to go" lunch. Not sure if they do that anymore. The name of the hotel is awful----but at the time the price was right and I had a great experience.
This hotel has been redone in recent years, and wouldn't be a bad deal, if you don't expect too much. My only thought is that it's not in the most convenient neighborhood for sightseeing if you want to walk a lot, and the two Metro lignes aren't the most convenient.
A better location would be this hotel, which is steps away from good bus access and Metro Ligne 1 and in the middle of lots of cafes, shops, etc. You can walk to many different attractions and museums easily from here. I've had friends and family stay in this hotel and they were happy:

I appreciate your help. I've decided to go to the 11th for a hotel. Marais is too expensive for me.
If you are heading over to the 11th in the under 150 euros per night category, take a look at Grand Hotel Francais on Blvd Voltaire.
This is a nice hotel, located on a pretty square in the 11th - nice neighborhood with lots to do.
