Musuem pass

HI,

We will be travelling to Paris in May for 4 days. I am yet to plan the whole trip but as of now we will be visiting Disney Land, Eiffel tower, Louvre museum.

I was wondering if there is a way to buy a pass that will cover all the important attractions.

Thanks
Anush

The Paris Museum Pass covers many museums and national monuments, including the Louvre. It does not cover the Eiffel Tower.

Not really. The Eiffel Tower stands by itself and is not included on anyone's discount ticket. Go to their website to make a reservation so you don't have to spend a lot of time waiting in line. Disneyland is quite a way outside of town. There may be some discount included in the Paris Pass, but you will over pay because the Pass includes a zillion things you are not interested in and have no time for. If the Louvre is the only museum you are interested in, just buy a ticket and go in. If you are also interested in visiting many of the other Parisian museums like the Orsay, Orangerie, Pompideau, Versailles, then the Museum Pass would be in order.
Four days is really only enough time to skim the surface of this bottomless city. Disneyland will take up a whole long day. The Louvre will give you museum hypnoses if you stay more than 3 or 4 hours. I think one major activity per day is good. Relax and enjoy the walks and architecture and keep some time open for the unexpected opportunity to do something you never thought of during your planning.

As I recall, the museum pass comes in 2 and 4 day versions. No 1 or 3 day versions. It does get you past long ticket lines but not the security lines. It's very hard to get the full value of the pass if you only do 1-2 museums a day. 42Euro for the 2-day pass.

Anush,

Do the math before buying the pass.

The one + side to the pass is that it allows the user to avoid/bypass some entrance lines. Note that security lines eveyrone has to go through.

Looks like the best thing to do would be to buy individual tickets for the museums.

Thanks a lot folks!
