Museum Ticket Purchases to skip lines

Hello,
We will be going to Paris for the first time in a few weeks and are wondering the best way to purchase museum tickets in advance to skip the lines? Can you recommend any reputable companies? Do we go directly to the museum websites?

Thank you for your help!

There is really no such thing as skip the lines. If you want to skip the ticket line, simply purchase tickets in advance from FNAC or from the museum's own website. Many museums now require your booking an entry time.

and nobody skips the security line / bag check line.

Plus, with the timed entries the Big museums require/suggest, the lines are minimal. Last October I had short lines for the Louvre and that is where lines used to be pre-Covid.

If you are reading about lines it may be from pre-Covid information.

Even before COVID there were separate lines for security for those with tickets; now there are mostly timed tickets. The old line up for 2 hours for tickets thing is no longer necessary. Any vendor advertising 'skip the line tickets' is just lying -- they have no access to special tickets that are not identical to those you can buy on line and show on your phone.

I just returned from 10 days in Paris. The only one with a line was the Louvre, and we walked right in with pre-purchased tickets. It just wasn’t an issue anywhere else. Perhaps by May and during the peak summer season, there will be more lines.
