museum pass reserving timed tickets

I have a Paris museum pass and have successfully gotten free timed tickets to Versailles. I am trying to understand how to specify the pass for a visit to the Conciergerie which Rick Steve's and the website seem to indicate is included in the pass. I can't find a clear way to purchase timed free entry using the pass on the Conciergerie website. The only option that I can find is the option by choosing: "other gratuities." That results in a free timed ticket but I'm not sure this will get us in? I can bring my museum pass to the timed entry and maybe that will work but it's pretty unclear. Other sites seem the same such as the Arc De Triomphe. If anyone can lend some clarity here I would be appreciative.

Just present your pass at the Concierge. You do not need to prebook. This is true at the Arc de Triomphe as well (as indicated on its website).

Honestly, the big three you need to reserve in my opinion based on having been there recently would be the Louvre, Orsay and Saint Chapelle I’m sure you have to have reservations for Versailles but I haven’t been in over a decade so I’m not really up on what goes on there

every place else we just walked up. One little museum claimed you had to have a reservation, and they made it for us while we stood there by at the ticket window. I guess it made them happy

Thanks for the help. The Museum Pass website says to make a timed reservation but if you don’t really need it that’s fine.

I don’t think they’ve updated their website since some of the COVID related protocols were in place.

Note that there are limited slots available for museum pass holders at the Louvre, so book as soon as you know your dates. They often sell out museum pass slots long before paid slots are gone.

The Conciergerie was a place that wasn’t really on my radar, but I visited because it was part of the pass and close to other attraction & I’m so glad I did. Really well done, interesting place. If you're at all into history you’ll really enjoy it.

@robin m: I also used the pass to visit Versailles and did pay extra for the musical fountains in the gardens. It wasn’t actually on the schedule for that day, so it was a delightful surprise and well worth the money…I think I enjoyed the gardens more than the palace!
