There are a few options.
The first is the Tabac at 23 Avenue de la Motte Picquet. It is on the south side of the street between where Rue Cler and Rue Duvivier intersect. The folks in there don’t speak a lot of English but they have a sign for the Museum Pass and you can point to that.
Second-your hotel might sell them
Third-Les Invalides ticket windows are usually not busy. You do have to go thru security and there they have soldiers wanding you since there are military offices there. The ticket counters are closer to the Avenue de Tourville entrance than the entrance facing the Esplanade and the Alexander III bridge.
