Musée Jacquemart-André to Musée Marmottan Monet… a scenic walk?

Is the walk from Musée Jacquemart-André to Musée Marmottan Monet a scenic walk?

What would be the most scenic route?

How do you define scenic? You know it is about a 2.5 mile walk?

From Musée Jacquemart-André to Arc de Triomphe then diagonal to Musée Marmottan Monet on Ave Victor Hugo and Ave Henri Martin toward the Bois. Much is upscale as I recall - can't say that I've walked that entire distance. Ave Victor Hugo has many Haussmann-style buildings. A lot is residential - monumentally so.

Beautiful buildings, tree-lined streets, interesting landmarks, clean streets.

Yes, I know it’s a long walk, I like to walk.

I'm a walker also and love Paris where I routinely walk 45 - 60 minutes point to point. Many don't share our love, so I mentioned the distance!

With the definition provided, I think you will enjoy the walk. I know I've done sections, if not the whole way all at once, and enjoyed.

I've walked from the Arc de Triomphe to the Marmottan, which is practically the same. It was fine, but I don't know about "scenic." I chose a route that brought me by a few monuments of famous Americans (Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Ben Franklin). However, I primarily get around Paris on foot. Walking from the Marmotten to Tour Eiffel, you go through the Passy neighborhood, which I found interesting. And you could easily go through that area on your way. There is a nice covered market there. Right around the Musée Marmotten is mostly quiet residential.

Marco, you can get somewhat of an idea what the walk looks like if you go to Google Maps, plot out the walk and look at Google Street View. There are parts that don't have an image, however.

I also am a walker and would add Parc Monceau to your walk, adding another @10 minutes (!) Parc Monceau is one of my favorite parks in Paris and is uncrowded.

Yes, I already had Parc Monceau in the walk… Jacquemart-André to Parc Monceau to Musée Marmottan
