Hello all! I am returning to Paris next month for a ten day visit (so excited) and as I recall, when I visited a few years ago, I was able to purchase my multi-day museum pass right at the airport - is that still the case?
Thanks!

In case you don't remember, the pass must be used on consecutive days/hours and can only be used once at each museum it covers. Have fun in Paris!
Thanks, Kathy!
Dennise, be sure and read the fine print regarding museums, such as the Louvre, that you must make a timed-entry reservation for even if using the card.? That may be a new thing since you last used one.
Thanks for that additional tip, Kathy!
You bet. Just reference each individual museum's info page shown on the Museum Pass website to see which of them have the reservation requirement. For instance, here's the Louvre's.

You could instead buy the pass at the first (included) museum you visit. Enjoy!
We’ll be there in April and I am going to order my pass online before we go. I like to order tickets, passes ahead of time for a few reasons. With the pass already in hand, I can make my timed reservations before I go and not think about it again, just put the place and time on y TripIt App. I can spread out the cost of my trip and not have too high a balance on one month’s card since we pay it off each month. Also, with many places now limiting the number of people, I am guaranteed I will get in at the time which is convenient for me.
Barbara, you can actually make timed entry reservations without having the pass in hand. Of course it's up to you if you want to pay for them to mail it to you.
In addition to the airport, you can also often buy at local tabacs. There is one in the neighborhood where I usually stay that does Museum Passes as well as Metro passes.
One other thing about the museum pass is that although they are listed as 2/4/6 day increments, they are actually 48/96/144 hours. This means if you enter a museum on Day 1 at noon, on day 3/5/7 you can still enter something up until 11:59. Of course you wouldn't cut it that close but..you can get parts of 3, 5 or 7 days out of your pass.
You can buy it in advance and have it on your phone as a PDF. Super easy.
Sometimes when you have a timed entry ticket they will also want to scan the pass (Louvre). Sometimes they won’t care (Cluny).
inquiring if anyone knows how to make a reservation when you don't have the pass in hand yet (tried using the services of a TA friend that included a museum pass in the package but we cant get it until we go to paris. note to self - don't do that again 😂)
@Sambycat, which museum/s are you trying to book?
Here is a link to the Louvre ticketing page. They have a clear selection for Museum Pass holders to book a time. At the beginning they required you to put in the number of your pass but they have stopped doing that.

Here is the Musee d'Orsay's ticketing page which indicates "Holders of a Paris Museum Pass or of a ticket purchased from a third-party vendor do not need a time slot reservation."

Even if a museum required a pass ##, a fake ## is fine, 00000000000 (or whatever) worked for me.
can't you also get passes at FNAC? And FWIW, I thought Paris museums were pretty cheap considering, so I didn't mind pay as you go.
