We have the opportunity to go to Moulin Rouge. It is safe, fun and worth the trip?
We only have 2 nights in Paris this trip.....

It is safe, touristy, and Rick's book says "overrated." See similar discussions in this forum if you enter "Moulin Rouge" in the search box above.

And it will be quite pricey since it's well known to tourists of certain ages.

I think it depends on how much you want to see it. I went many years ago with my sister and we had a great evening. I should mention we were both obsessed with the Moulin Rouge movie ;-)

I went to the Moulin Rouge with my husband, my sister and 4 teens/young adults for Christmas Eve 3 years ago. We paid for tickets that included champagne, not a meal. ( I don't drink champagne, but was told that it was the worst champagne ever!!!!) It was very crowded; they really jam people in!
We all enjoyed the show very much and the acts that were on in between dances were very professional and very entertaining. Before the show we wandered around Sacre Coeur and Montmartre, where we had a lovely meal.
It is rated as one of the best Christmas Eves ever by my family.
( We were in Paris for 10 days, so had plenty of time for other things)
