Mother-Daugther Paris trip

Our plan is to spend 3 Days in Paris before traveling to the Provence area in mid June. We would like to stay in a hotel ($150-250) that is within walking distance (1-2 miles) of the Eiffel Tower, Louve, Norte Dame . . . What recommendations can you give? Thank you.

Buel,

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at Hotel Diana which is near Notre Dame and within steps from the Cluny Museum. The Louvre and Eiffel Tower are not near each other but you can easily get there via Metro or bus.

Enjoy your time in France!

We and many others on this board have enjoyed this lovely and conveniently located hotel https://hotel-paris-bosquet.com/en/. We walked nearly everywhere including to The Louvre, which I would not recommend as it is quite a distance.

Our go to for a couple of nights in Paris is a few steps from Notre Dame and an easy walk to the Louvre. The Eiffel tower is on the far edge of Paris and not a convenient stroll from the center. We like Henri IV Rive Gauche -- charming boutique hotel.

Hmm, walking distance. What does that mean for you? 45 minute walk, 30 minute walk, 15 minutes? The Eiffel Tower is a bit of an outlier from the major tourist sites so unless you mean about 30 to 40 minutes for walking distance, you will not find many hotels within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower, Louvre and Notre Dame. What is your budget?

We are willing to walk 30-45 minutes to a destination. If we get weary we can take public transportation back to our hotel. We’ve been looking at hotels in the St Germaine area ($150-250 a night). Mid June is our time frame.

We’ve also looked at a Louve 3-hour tour that will pick up & drop off at the hotel. We also have the RS audio app which we can use . . . FREE.

I hope that clarifies my request for Paris info.

How about Hotel Les Dames du Pantheon. It's in the Latin Quarter not Saint Germain and is about a 15-minute walk to Notre Dame and about 30 minutes to the Louvre. In Saint Germain for mid-June (prime tourist season), US$250 (I assume you mean USD) may not take you as far as you might think it would. Take a look at Hotel de Fleurie on Rue Gregoire de Tours.

I realize this is not your question, but if you do stay in the St Germain des Pres area you are probably within a 15 minute or less walk to the Louvre so you may not need a tour company that picks you up. If you are there on the right day, you might also consider the Paris Walks tour of the Louvre altho you'd need to get there to meet up with them.

The Louvre itself has tours in English too. Rick's audio guide works as well!

I am a wuss when it comes to heat so I would probably want to make sure I had a hotel with AC for mid-June. I know many can tolerate heat in Paris but I just can't.

You all are going to have so much fun!

You will really need air-conditioning in mid-June.
I can recommend this hotel, which is equi-distant from the sights you want to see.
You can walk almost anywhere from here, or use the Metro:

The sights you want to see are contained in an approximately 2.5 x 3 km rectangle. That's about 2 miles.
I would not stay near the Eiffel Tower unless you really love looking at it...
