Looking for insights into visiting the Mortain, Fr area. Had an older friend who recently passed who was a member of the 30th Infantry and was a forward observer during the Battle of Hill 314.

I hope you get some good info. Have visited Normandy several times, and would like to finally get to this area in a future trip.
