If the Gare du Nord is a minor disaster now, just think of what this will do.
I confess I haven't looked into the details of the project, but Gare Saint Lazare's shopping center transformation was a great success, so I wouldn't mind something along these lines for Gare du Nord.
There you go. Different opinions. I find the Gare Saint Lazare to be just another colorless carbon copy of the shops at any airport. The only part I liked was having, like most German RR stations have, a place to buy groceries when one gets off the train.
What a relief.
I thought this thread was going to be about another disaster in Russ's home town. I'm glad it isn't.
