I'm in Montpellier for the next month or so and am wondering if anyone can recommend any specific restaurants or cafes? There are plenty of them around...both near the Place du Comedie and scattered around the old city (where I'm staying). Too many to choose from. Hoping to be pointed to a few particularly good value and/or phenomenal food! Would love to find one or two places I can made my neighborhood hangout.
My french is extremely limited, by the way, but I'm not having too much difficulty communicating...a mixture of French, Englislh and pantomime is doing the trick!
