Montparnasse to Reims by train

I booked a few champagne houses for January (I know, not the best month but it is what it is) and we are staying in Saint Germain. I thought it would be easier/closer to take the TGV train from Montparnasse station. Has anyone done this? I am confused. I put in the search on the SNCF page Montparnasse Paris to Reims, it comes right up. I click on the times I want and when I get to the final page it doesn't clearly state Montparnasse station, it says Paris Est. Is that correct? Am I doing something wrong? I just don't want to purchase the wrong tickets. I appreciate your help. Thank you.

you don't get to pick which train station you want to use to travel to a particular location. Each train station has trains that serve a particular regions. Montparnasse does not serve the areas east of Paris. TGVs for Reims go from Gare l'Est. Montparnasse serves areas to the west and south of Paris. Normally when booking a train you just put Paris to where you want to go and the site slots in the correct station; it appears that is what SNCF has done for you in your search.
