We are on the France My Way tour beginning October 3. The 1st hotel is Appolinaire but they are totally booked October 1 and 2. Suggestions for a hotel in that neighborhood?? I'm currently looking at Hotel Delambre.

We stayed at the Lenox Hotel Montparnasse on the RS tour. It's across the road from the street with all the crêperies mentioned in the RS guidebook. Perfectly fine hotel. Restaurants in all directions and close to theTour de Montparnasse which has a Monoprix in the lower level

We also stayed at the Lenox Montparnasse. Just beware that street seems to be very noisy early in the am. Bring earplugs!

I've stayed at the Hotel Odessa - A five minute walk to Montparnasse station. It is more convenient than elegant but I liked it.

Have enjoyed stay at small, stylish, clean Hotel Mistral at 24 rue Cels in 14th. Your best rate is booking direct with the hotel. The Appolinaire is above the Montparnasse cemetery and Hotel Mistral is below and nearer a fine market street, rue Daguerre. Closer to entrance of the Catacombes de Paris, as well.
