Montmartre Walk

I will be coming to Paris in March and would like to do the Montmartre walk as it is written in the book. I am curious, is the walk possible on a wheelchair? I can get out of the chair and walk very short distances and climb a few steps, but not much more than that. Will it be possible to do the walk for me? Or should I just take a Taxi to the Sacre Coeur?

I would think this would be very difficult in a wheelchair, even without the steps. It's all up hill ( or at least most of it is). Take a taxi.

The main entrance to the church is not handicap accessible, but there is one on the north side. The link provides accessibility information
