Mont. St. Michel, Normandy and Giverny by rail or bus from Paris or by ferry from England?

From Paris, is it feasible to do these sites by commercial transportation? I would expect to take a hotel in the area and try to contract with tour guides from there.

I see some go from England by ferry and I could do this but would then go to Paris to pick up a train for Dijon so I would need transportation from Normandy to Paris. Don't like to drive.

It would be easier to do from Paris. You can pretty easily get to Giverny and MSM by train. Normandy is a big area of sights. You can get to the towns of Bayeux or Caen on the train and then book a tour from there (many tours embark from these towns). I recommend already having the tour booked before your trip. Getting to the actual DDay sights can't be done without a car or tour but since you are doing a tour you will be fine.

Giverny is very easy by train from Paris. Pick up the train at Saint Lazare- once in Vernon we took the bus to Giverny.
