Mont-Saint-Michel, May tour tickets from Abbey

Anyone know when English tour admissions go on sale (from the Abbey)? I've had no luck in finding that info. They're available now through the end of April 2026 and then nothing after that, so guessing they just haven't been offered yet Is there a specific date/ time they open those?

Looking specifically for info regarding the last weekend in May, 2026 I've seen that the Abbey is closed on June 1, but trying to figure our why the general admission tickets are apparently sold out on May 30, 31, and June 2 when there are lots of times available just before and after that. I know there's a half marathon nearby on the 31st so maybe that sold it out or maybe they've just reduced access those days.

Hoping they'll have English tours go on sale for that weekend, but if not, guess we'll just check out the village

Regardless of the day, don't skip the Abbey just because you don't get an English tour. There are self-guided tours spoken of on the website. The Abbey is the raisin d'etre for the mont, not the shops and restaurants, which make up the largest part of what you will see there (besides the Abbey), aside from the views.

I too am going to the Abbey this May and cannot get tickets online. I see nothing available in May. Here is where I am looking: https://tickets.monuments-nationaux.fr. I'm wondering where you are seeing any tickets sold out in May? The entire month of May will not come up on their calendar. The RS book does not provide the website for tickets, it only lists a TI offering guided tours and the website for the Abbey related to those looking for Mass or religious events. The Abbey website related to Masses does not have tickets but it mentions that it is managed by Centre Des Monuments Nationaux.

Does anyone know how to get tickets to the Abbey??

PS: the website listed in an earlier response above (abbaye-mont-saint-michel.fr ) is the one I am looking at when I say I went to the Centre Des Monuments Nationaux site....

Sorry for too many emails. Ticket problem SOLVED! You must add your selected ticket to the shopping cart before it will let you pick a date. I did see tickets available every day in May, for touring the Abbey on your own, however, the 2 hour conference tours and 45 min English tour did not show availability. Good luck!!
