Under "Helpful Hints" in Mont Sant Michel, Rick says "There is no bag check available."
I plan to arrive by train or minivan from Bayeux and leave in the same night by train to Rennes. I'll have one piece of luggage I bought from Rick Steves that I carry on my back. I can walk about 15 minutes with it on my back, but after that I need to set it down. By Mont Saint Michel I intend to join a guided walk of the mudflats, and I intend to walk the ramparts to the abbey. I'll very much need a place to put my bag. Any suggestions?
