Monmartre hotels

We will be in Paris for just 3 days at the end of a RS Ireland tour in late May and are thinking of staying in Montmartre. Do you have any hotel recommendations, we don't know anything about the area other than we did a walking tour one fall day and thought it was just lovely and so different from other neighborhoods we've visited. Not looking for luxury, maybe close to $200-250 a night if that's possible? The one that we've noticed that looks good on line is Hotel Le Relais Montmartre. Suggestions and thoughts about Montmartre in general would be greatly appreciated!

I love the location and views from Terrass Hotel in Montmartre. The prettiest area is around Lamarck Caulaincourt, but I don't recall hotels there.

Stayed at the Hotel Beausejour Montmartre (B Montmartre) last year and loved it. Very much a local vibe in the area. Close to the subway.

Timhotel. I've stayed there 3 times. Very nice staff. Has elevator. Short walk from the Abbesses metro station.

Another vote for B Montmartre. I stayed there as part of the R.S. Paris and the Heart of France tour last summer. Great location with easy access to metro and buses. Lots of neighborhood restaurants, shops, and services.

I've stayed at Mercure Paris Montmartre Sacre Coeur. Metro is fifty meters from the front door (2 and 12), interesting neighborhood, I'd stay there, again. although there are thousands of hotels in Paris.

Thank you all so much for your suggestions. Looks like we won't have any issues booking a nice hotel in the area. Our concern was the French Open starting the same weekend we will be in Paris. Turns out it was nothing to worry about. Plenty of good options still available.

We were in Paris several years ago during the French Open, and they had the area in front of the Hotel de Ville set up as a big orange tennis court with huge tv monitors showing the match. Fun to stop by briefly.
