Mexico exhibit at the Grand Palais in Paris

Friends and I would like to visit this exhibit 10/21 and wondered if we need to buy our tickets ahead of time online, if there will be long lines to wait, if buying the skip-the-line tickets are worth the extra cost (14e vs 23e), and any hints of how best to see the exhibit. Thanks!

Holly, You are looking at the wrong category. The Mexique tickets are 14. It's the combo ticket for both Herge and Mexique that's 23. I did go to see Mexique right when I got here. There was no crowd, but I was there on Monday afternoon and had bought my ticket on line from the States for admission and a guided visit with a conferencier. I didn't see Herge, but you can be sure lines are going around the block to see the creator of beloved Tintin. If you don't want to deal on line, just go over to the FNAC. The mark up is 1.40 per ticket.

I'd buy an advance ticket at FNAC. Expos at the Grand Palais are always crowded, especially in the beginning. You'll be going during school vacations, so there will be lots of people there.

We saw the exhibit and really liked it. We also can recommend the Oscar Wilde exhibit at the Petit Palais and the Second Empire exhibit at the Musee Orsay. All have great art pieces and good information.
