Metz to Reims? Suggestions?

Hello All,

I am taking a trip to Metz with some friends but I have more vacation time left and wan to extend my trip.

I have always wanted to visit the Champagne region so I was thinking about taking the train to Reims.

Any suggestions for a solo trip there or any suggestions on a wine tour company that would maybe pick me up at my hotel for the day?

Hi,

"...taking the train fo Reims." From where, Paris or Metz? You can go Paris Est to Metz Ville on the TGV, less time than to Strasbourg, or on the regional train but that takes 3 plus hrs. I've done both routes to Metz a few times and solo too. On going to Reims, you also depart from Paris Est, there is the regional train , which takes longer, and also the TGV.
