Metro travel in Paris?

I am taking my 14 year old granddaughter to Paris for a week in June and am wondering what the best option for metro tickets is. On my past visits I bought books of carnet tickets. I know there is a Navigo card now, but find the information a bit confusing. I will have my android mobile phone, but she doesn’t have a mobile.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Impossible to advise without knowing your specific dates, how you travel between Paris and the airport, and how often you plan on using public transportation.

If you just want to travel within Paris, you can still purchase tickets t+ at 2.15€ each or you may purchase a Navigo Easy card (2€) and load groups of 10 tickets t+ at 17.35€. There is also an option to use a smartphone, establish an account with Île de France Mobilité by downloading the app, linking a credit card, and using your phone as a card replacement.

There are lots of options.

We will take taxis to and from CDG, so it is for travel in Paris only. We will be there June 20-27, so we will miss the Olympics. We’ll use it at least twice a day.
It sounds like the Easy card will be the right choice. Thanks.

There is a weekly Navigo pass, valid for any Monday to Sunday period. It's only 30.75€ but it only covers half of your time in Paris.

I used to purchase passes, sometimes I still do if I am taking the RER from CDG (itself worth 11.85€), but now I primarily use the occasional ticket t+ and walk everywhere. This might work for you as well.

Since your dates don't fit a single week, I'd just get a Navigo Easy card for each of you and load 10 metro/bus tickets. You get a sizable discount which pays for the card. If you end up using those ten rides, you can add as many additional rides as you need: about 18 Euro for 10 or 2.1 for each one if you only need 3 or 4.

If you travel outside Paris get single point to point tickets e.g. Paris to Versailles. The most expensive of those is 5 Euro. (Versailles is about 4 Euro each way)
