Free Metro tickets for Lyon

and how did you like Lyon (or I imagine you had already been there anyway)?

We enjoyed Lyon. Good food and wine. Our Viking cruise ended in Lyon a couple of weeks ago but we stayed a couple of extra days prior to moving on to Paris. We were traveling with another couple. We bought ten tickets (cheaper) when we were visit the cathedral on the hill expecting to use four up and four down. We got to wondering around and walking all the way down visiting the various slights along the way. Then we were going to use the subway to get to the train station but it was a beautiful morning so we walked. So six ticket left over. Surely someone is going to be in Lyon in the next six months or so.

How kind---we just returned from a visit to France that included Lyon, so your offer is a bit too late for us. Hopefully someone can use them. We rode the metro everywhere in Lyon and found it modern and very easy to use. And despite claims in RS books, our chip and pin credit card did work to buy metro tickets at the kiosks.

I will be in Lyon next spring but posting to the UK is a bit tough.

Better let some north Americans have them first.

We just returned from Lyon and agree that it's a wonderful city. We intended to purchase metro day tickets for all 3 days but ended up not needing to purchase the pass one day because it is such a nice city to walk around and enjoy. Your tickets could be enough for their entire stay.

Hi Frank! What a kind offer. My husband and I go to Lyon in two weeks--I've PM'd you if they're not already spoken for. We've never been and are really looking forward to a new set of experiences!
