Metro from hotel to La Muette metro stop? Musee Marmottan

Help, need to know what metro stops and lines to go from my hotel Lenox Montparnasse 15 Rue Delambre to the Museum Marmottan 2 Rue Louis-Boilly the metro stop is La Muette Line 9. My hotel is near the Vavin metro line 4. Your help would be appreciated.

I know I need to know the first and last stop of each line and I need to know where to transfer if I take line 4. Thanks.

No 4, direction Porte de Clignancourt.
No 9, direction Pont de Sevres.
The maps at the stations make it pretty clear which is the right direction, showing all the stops on the line.
You might take a short cut by walking to the Edgar Quinet station on the No 6 line (direction Charles de Gaulle Etoile) and getting the No 9 at Trocadero.

The first time you ride the metro ask for a 'Plan' i.e.map of the metro and then you can figure these connections out easily once you know your metro stops. The maps are free and we always have one in our pocket. (there are two sizes, one tiny one for eyes better than mine, and one larger one)

You can also calculate routes here:

Thank you Sam, I have a metro map but just able to read it correctly until you pointed out what stops to take.

Another option - perhaps for your return trip - is to take a bus. We did that when my husband's knee discouraged us from many flights of Metro stairs for our trip. It might take longer, but you will see more!

Musée Marmottan is a special place - I'm glad you're going there. If, by chance, you're a teacher, they may give you a discount if you have some proof of your job. My teacher health insurance card was enough to get me a small discount when I asked. :-)

Un 'petit plan' used to show the central area in more detail and be much easier to carry around and refer to.
RATP (Paris Transport) has an app you may like to download to your phone as well.

I am not an expert, but I stayed in that area (Avenue Gaete) on a RS Paris tour. You will have access to at least 3 Metro stops, the Vavin stop, Edgar Quinet as someone else mentioned as well as the Metro stop at Montparnasse-Bienvenue. That will not be too far for you to walk, so when you are figuring out your trips, use all of those stops to figure your trips.
