Edit: OBERKAMPF Metro (lines 5, 9) still closed today

EDIT TO ADD: Except for Oberkampf, these stations are now re-opened.

Oberkampf, lines 5 and 9, remains closed today.

From the RATP website, the following metro lines are not stopping at the following stops (name of station first followed by number of metro line - L3 = Line 3, L5 = Line 5, etc).

To repeat: the entire Metro lines are NOT closed, but these stops along the lines. These lines are obviously those in the east of Paris along the axes of Blvd Voltaire, Blvd Beaumarchais, Blvd Magenta, and a bit in the area of Place de la Republique. (roughly, 10th and 11th arrondissements are the most affected by the closures as authorities continue their investigations).

Stations fermées et rames ne marquant pas l'arrêt :

  • République : L3, L5, L8, L9 et L11
  • Temple : L3
  • Parmentier : L3
  • Jacques Bonsergent : L5
  • Oberkampf : L5 et L9
  • Filles du Calvaire : L8

Thanks for the update Kim. Glad to know you are safe. I was not planning on using the metro until May but I will check again when it gets closer for time to leave. Again, thank you .-Lorenzo G.

Thanks all for your kind words and positive thoughts.

According to the RATP website, the stations should be reopened now. I was on the metro today, but only the Line 1 so wasn't able to test out any of the affected stations.

So sorry for photobearsam and anyone else who is visiting at this time. The Louvre and the Orsay closed, my neighborhood market closed this morning, the Eiffel Tower closed. I am really sorry that your dream trip has been marred by these fanatics and that instead you are faced with thoughts for the victims, their families and friends, the caregivers and law enforcement officials trying to help.
