Bonjour all
I have been to paris several times and have been to the “ big museums several times too
for my upcoming trip in April
Based on post Covid travel ( which will be my first time returning …
I have secured my ticket and time for my must see
Museum & exhibition
My question
As I really like museums
Is it still possible
To just walk up to the ticket booth & secure a ticket and entrance if available and open?
Merci
It's typically possible to purchase tickets directly at the ticket booth for many museums in Paris, including popular ones like the Louvre or Musée d'Orsay. It's always a good idea to check the museum's official website or contact them directly for the most up-to-date information on ticketing and entrance procedures.
Well it's "possible" at the Louvre.... if you like REALLY long lines. When we were there last March the line for tickets was incredibly long and they would let one small group in if there was a gap in the "reserved" line. I have no idea how long it would take to get a ticket but... I would think a LONG time based on what I saw happening while we were waiting for our "spot" (In between the slot before us and our slot I would say they let in less than 50 people and the line had several hundred easily!
