I am meeting my parents in CDG. They will be flying from intl into 2E whereas I should be flying in from BER into 2F. Is it possible for me to meet them outside their gate? If I need to collect my bags will I lose out on my ability to meet them right outside their gate when they exit?
You can't meet them at their gate where they exit the plane.
You will have to get your bag and exit the secure area and go to 2E where people await international arrivals.
Once you get off the plane you must exit through immigration; you cannot wander around the terminals and go to other terminals and gates. Once you get your bags you exit through customs (just walk through the green door) and go to 2E landside and you can wait at the exit from baggage claim for their flight.
Even if they were arriving at 2F you would not be able to meet them at their gate.

yes this is a situation where a wheel chair greet to facilitate getting through immigration would be the thing to do. We waited two hours in immigration spring a year ago and 45 minutes last fall -- that is a long time for someone who is exhausted and has mobility issues.

Having a wheelchair for my mom, due to limited mobility, when arriving at CDG was great. Immigration had a separate line for those in wheelchairs & flight crew.
