Hope someone can help. Two of us arriving at 7:45-ish in the morning at CDG, two different terminals.
My friend arrives in Terminal 1 and I arrive in Terminal 2E. Any suggestions of how we should try to meet up would be much appreciated.

Hey Eileen,
Option A: Your friend can take the airport shuttle (CDGVAL) from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 then meet you outside of the baggage area in Terminal 2. There is a Meeting Point.

Since you are landing landing in Terminal 2, there are separate gates for 2E (gates K, L & M) since you are coming from the States/Canada. You will pick up luggage in the terminal 2E.
Option B : Meet at the Sheraton Hotel main entrance in Terminal 2 next to RER station in CDG.

Have a Plan B in case there is a flight delay for you or your friend. Plan B could be that you are both armed with the address of your hotel in Paris, have Euro or a credit card and have figured out independent transport into town -either taxi or RER.
Will your friend have to go thru Immigration? I'm wondering if they are flying Icelandic and will have transited immigration in Iceland? If so, they should have your flight information so they can see if your plane landed, then will just have to know you may have some time in the Immigration line (or not as the case may be, lol).
