Meeting at CDG Inside security

I am one of 3 friends arriving at CDG on the same day at exactly 8:10 in the morning. But we are on different non-stop flights from different cities in the US. It appears that we will all arrive at gate 2E but I see that there are in fact 3 sections to 2E: K, L, and M. It seems that those arriving in L or M must shuttle to K.

What I cannot find out is where one does passport check. If someone arrives in section L and takes the shuttle to K, will they get their passport checked after arriving at k? So, could we all meet somewhere in K and be inside security? Then go through passport check together and then on to baggage claim? Also, it looks like there is a Pret A Manger in the upper level of K. Could we meet there before passport control?

The luggage claim area is probably the easiest place to meet up. Before that, it's just corridors, trains, and the immigration line. No access to departure-side restaurants.

Thank you. We could meet at baggage claim but would like to meet at a restaurant in case someone's plane is late and we have to wait a while.

I can't remember ever seeing a restaurant when deplaning at CDG before arriving at passport control.

There isn't any. You'd have to exit luggage claim and wait at a restaurant in the public area.

IN CASE ANYONE HAS THE SAME ISSUE: The only way to meet is after baggage claim. Although all flights entering 2E will file into the same place for passport control, after that the baggage claim areas are isolated from one another. There is a small bakery/coffee place called Brioche Doree when we used as a meeting place before going out to the nearby taxi stand together.

Also, the taxi ride into Paris took a very long time at about 9 in the morning. If you can navigate the train you would get there earlier.
