Marseilles to Amsterdam?

3 of us are getting off a cruise in Marseilles and need to get to Amsterdam for the next part of our adventure. Fly? Train (although that takes at least 8+ hours)? If fly, are there any recommendations as to airlines that aren't ridiculously expensive? Thanks!
P.S. A special thank you to those that in a previous post recommended a later time to visit the tulips in Amsterdam- you were right and that's what we're doing. Mahalo!

KLM has 3 direct flights every day. I'd go with that.

I have no experience flying that route, but for trips within Europe I start by checking schedules and fares on skyscanner.com.

By train you will have to transfer stations in Paris from Gare de Lyon to Gare du Nord. Easily done on the RER D.

You won't necessarily have to change in Paris between Amsterdam and Marseille - there are through TGV trains from Marseille all the way to Brussels, and you can then get a train to Amsterdam from the same station (Bruxelles Midi).

I would definitely fly, KLM flies that route and you would save basically a whole day.
If you take the train, to avoid having to cross Paris, you can change trains in Brussels-Midi.

Farmer Cyndi,
Definitely fly. Marseille airport is small enough to not be a pain.
