We have one day in Marseilles (tomorrow). What are best suggestions? We have an 18 year old with us, and she’s not into museums. We stayed 2 days in Cassis and visited the Calanques by kayak. Thanks in advance!

Marseille is a great city for walking. We were there three nights and didn’t go into a single museum. The old port area has lots to see with 13th century forts at either end. The Panier neighborhood is charming and has lots of interesting shops. And if you’re feeling energetic the walk to the Basilique Norte Dame de la Garde is nonstop fabulous views.
