I am flying from Lisbon to Marseille and wanting to make Arles my home base for a few days. Any suggestions on the easiest way to get from the Marseille airport to Arles on public transportation?

You can take a shuttle bus ("navette") from the Marseille Airport to the TER train station in Vitrolles (https://www.marseille.aeroport.fr/parkings-et-acces/acces/trains). Cost isn't mentioned on the airport website so I would assume it's free.
You can then take a TER train from Vitrolles to Arles for around 13 euros one-way. Trip duration is 35 to 40 minutes. the website http://www.sncf.com is useful for checking train times, cost, and trip durations.

Thank you so much!! I will go to those websites and determine how I can work this out. We will be coming in late in the afternoon and I was hoping we didn't have to go into Marseille to make the connection!!
