We will be flying into Marseille around 23:30 on a Sunday. Our hotel is at the train station and we wonder how late the bus shuttle operates?

Are you staying at the Vitrolles-Aeroport Marseille Provence train station, and not the Gare St. Charles station in downtown Marseille? The last Navette bus headed for the Gare St. Charles train station leaves the airport at 10 minutes past midnight. Trains from the airport train station to St. Charles don't run that late.
Sorry, but I'm not sure how late the shuttle from the airport terminal to the Vitrolles station runs.

We took the bus to St. Charles during the day, and it was a really comfortable, pretty fast and easy trip. If the bus leaves without you, hopefully you can get a taxi. Can your hotel offer any advice?

Thanks Cyn for your good advice. We are actually landing closer to 23:00 so may have a bit more time to catch the bus. I will probably contact the hotel as you suggested for any shuttle tips as well as to inform them of our late arrival.
