Marseille Airport Hotels

We will be staying one night on Sept 3 at Marseille airport for a 6AM flight.

Has anyone stayed at
--- ibis Marseille Provence Airport
---- or Holiday Inn Express? They are near and get reasonable ratings.

Do you have somewhere very nearby the airport to recommend?

Ibis is walkable to the terminals if the shuttle doesn't show up. Holiday Inn is not - the airport access highway is impassable for pedestrians. I would stay at Ibis, then.

The airport is served by accommodations on two sides, but the roads are designed for motor vehicles so walking can be awkward.. My guess is that some might provide shuttle service (only a guess).

Thanks. I will check the shuttle time for the hotels. Or Maybe I will rent a car to ensure we get to the airport by 5:00am.

If you stay at Ibis there is absolutely no need to rent a car. It is just behind the long stay carpark, there are sidewalks throughout in case there is no shuttle.
