My family of four will be staying in Marseille for 3 days in late June. We will not have a car. We would like to do a day tour to visit Avignon - Pope's Palace. Welcome any recommendation for a touring company? As well as good restaurants in and around Marseille? Unless I missed it I didn't see info on Marseille. Thank you!

Three days can easily be filled on Marseille proper. There are some great museums there.
In the Vieux-Port area you want to research before you commit to eating anywhere as there are some wildly touristy places that are just awful. But there are some that you'll dream about for the rest of your life.
My favorites were:
Les Panisses
La Nautique
Le Mole Passedat (a pretty big-named chef restaurant at the top of the MUCeM museum with amazing views).
La Smaritaine - great vieux port setting and the food was quite good.
