Booked the Hotel Le Metropolitan in Paris on Place du Mexico in Trocadero/Passy. Its a boutique hotel within walking distance to the Eiffle Tower. The hotel has an indoor pool as well my first in Paris. Have you ever stayed at this hotel? Its got good reviews and I love that its an independent hotel. Tribute is a Boutique brand of hotels that Marriott started. Perhaps this may be a hotel to add to your list if your budget allows.
Did you end up staying at this hotel? Do you have a review? We are booked there in a couple weeks. Thanks!
I stayed there 7-8 years ago on a "staycation" - I had Marriott points about to expire.
The room was really small (most of it was taken over by a very comfy bed) - standard for Paris for still surprising at that price range! Luggage would have been tricky to properly fit in there.
Otherwise it was a very cozy hotel. Great atmosphere in the bar, in particular. But I was thankful I didn't pay for the room, and I wished I had used the points for a longer stay at a cheaper property not in Paris, though.
Do check pool access conditions, as it looks to be part of the spa and could therefore require an extra fee.
I don't see how it's an independent hotel if it's a Marriott property.
I missed that the original posts was several months old, sorry!
