Sarlat-le-Canada or L’isle sur la Sorgue?
Depends on what you like. We visited both and preferred Sarlat as we are foodies and Sarlat is food central in the Dordogne. Many stalls with olives, bread, produce, and the ever-present duck and goose products. L’Isle was much more bric-a-brac, antiques, soaps, etc although there were food vendors as well. We were staying in Sarlat and really enjoyed it so that added to our experience.
