Hello, we are going to fly into Paris the first week of March and are looking for suggestions to spend some time along the coast. Been to MSM a few times and Normandy beaches. Any suggestions for places to go that time of year? We are thinking 4 -5 days.. Thx in advance, Steve

I wonder -- which coast? France has several given it's shape.
What kind of weather are you hoping to have?
Are you looking for a city or large town or a more rural setting?
What kinds of activities do you anticipate doing at the coast?

Probably a large town… being early March we are not sure if the weather.. Never been there in March. Maybe we can head down to Bordeaux and pick up a car there.. not really the coast but close to it…

so of the four major coasts, Channel, Brittany and north Atlantic, south Atlantic, Mediterranean, you're asking about south Atlantic, from Spain to about La Rochelle?

I think we are going to take the train down to Bordeaux and go from there.. maybe grab a car and head east to the caves.,
