Bonsoir! My wife and I have a free day on September 11th and I stumbled across a Macaron Pastry class while looking at the Fat Tire Bike Tour website. They offer a baguette, a pastry and a macaron class. the macaron class sounds fun as it is something we could learn and then gift to people around the holidays.
We have used Fat Tire multiple times in Paris and once in London and we really like that atmosphere. Has anyone had any experience with this class or another cooking class that could be recommended? We think we have hit all the museums and sights that interest us and this sounds like it could be fun. Any suggestions, ideas?
Thanks
I just think this is a great idea and never heard of it and am looking forward to seeing answers from those who are in the know about this. To take a macaron class in France would be very fun and insightful, especially when folding the batter-- the key to the elusive perfect macaron. Thx for sharing the Fat Tire Bike Tour information. I need to check it out.
I’ve taken about half a dozen classes at Cook’n with Class and a class at La Cuisine in Paris. They both have a Macaron class, although I haven’t taken that one. I would recommend them both.
Thanks Laura, The La Cuisine Paris class works for our availability. We are going to give it a try. It will be something different and hopefully memorable. Will stop and get a quart of milk to wash down our treats.
I really like the Cookin With Class course is better than La Cuisine classes, they just do it nicer, I have done only one class with both companies so cannot speak to the macaron class but I can’t speak for example to the sauce class. And there was a significant difference.
