Plan on spending a night in Lyon next month as we travel between Geneva & the Dordogne. Got a charming, well situated place for us (B &B or small hotel)?

Marty, we found a B & B here, have not yet been there though. It may be easier to come up with a Hotel room at this point for one night. Check the RS France book or Trip Advisor for recs. One $$ spot RS recommends is Elysee Hotel, www.hotel-elysee.fr

I was there in 2007, but I enjoyed my stay at Hotel du Theatre: http://www.hotel-du-theatre.net/ It's right in the center, and the only potential negative is that there's no elevator, and you have to climb stairs just to reach the lobby.
Since it's right in the center, however, it may not be the best place if you're driving.
