My wife is looking for some place to get her hair cut in Lyon. Just a cut, no color, and nothing fancy. She is a woman in her 60's. Thanks for any suggestions!

There must be a thousand salons in Lyon. (well, it feels that way!)
I just walked around a residential neighborhood and peered in the windows until I saw one whose clientele looked like a good match to myself (also in my 60s) - not super trendy, not all in their 80s.
In Paris I have been using Jean-Louis David, who are a big chain with locations in Lyon as well. Prices comparable or slightly cheaper than what I pay in Albuquerque, NM.

Ask a female desk clerk at your hotel for a suggestion, especially if her hair is nicely done?

And show a photo of what it normally looks like. I think it is better now, but years ago there was a "typical" French women's hairstyle which was effectively a short back and sides, as we say in UK. I got sunburned ears for the first time!
