Lyon City Pass guided tour

We are happy to arrange tours in many places, Paris Walks, Sorrento and Madrid Food Tours, Forum etc but never have we been offered a guided tour with the purchase of a "City Pass" as done in Lyon. Normally, we do pass on city passes as they have never worked out for us. Has anyone any reflections on the tour with the Lyon City Pass? Or any information on Lyon. Always open to suggestions.

We got a City Pass in Lyon last April and it was worth every penny. We were there for 4 nights. The guided tour was very interesting. We enjoyed Lyon a lot and could have spend a couple of more days to see things we missed if we had more time.

Yes, we just returned from our France trip which began with 5 nights in Lyon. The City Pass was fantastic and I encourage you to get one. Here is the link: https://en.lyoncitycard.com/

We typically don't get the city passes either but this one was a winner for us. It covers all transportation, many museums and discounted fares on others. The tourist information office in Place Bellecour is the place to start (as RS mentions in his guidebook). The Old Town Food Tour was great. It wasn't free but it was discounted with the city pass. We purchased the tour in advance so didn't get the discount but when we purchased our city card the agent willingly discounted our pass to reflect the food tour discount (without asking, btw). Lyon is very tourist-friendly.
