For those who haven't seen it, this is a French tv series streaming on Netflix in English. The protagonist, Assane Diop, is the son of a Senegalese immigrant who gave him the Arsène Lupin novels to read as a boy. The father is falsely accused of theft and the son as an adult is seeking to get vengeance. Arsène Lupin, the gentleman thief, was a character created by novelist Maurice Leblanc in 1905 in a series of stories and books. Lupin and Assane are sort of like the Saint or Robin hood. We found it enjoyable and had some great French scenery including the beach at Etretat.
