We plan to be there on a weekday in early October.
I have looked at Michelin and Google; there appears to be only 7 restaurants there.
Reviews are a bit all over the place for the ones that have caught my eye:
- La Colomb'Auge
- Café Forges
- Restaurant Le Pavé d’Auge [seems high-end, maybe better suited for a fine & special dinner?]

Such a charming, tiny village! We stopped by so early in the morning, it was too early to eat, so no recommendations. It looked more touristy than like an amazing food destination. But I bought a cute scarf there!

Regarding Le Pavé d'Auge, there is a review from the Gault & Millau guide, the other major French authority on gastronomy and restaurants:

It holds a score of 12.5 out of 20 and just one toque, this is a respectable rating, even if not exceptional. However, looking at the menu, this is the one I would choose without hesitation. It is also worth noting that they offer an impressive selection of Calvados, aged up to 40 years.

Indeed, it is a well-regarded small village, renown for its charm.
As an aside, for those who remember the EPCOT "French Movie", one of the early scenes is there, immediately after the Alsatian village. I have longed to see it in person for many years.
I wonder if it is such a popular destination and small that it may be "touristy" for a meal, rather than have strong offerings.

I think it's fair to say that these two restaurants are located far apart from each other along the spectrum.
As I alluded to, my concern (with both actually) stems from several negative recent reviews on TripAdvisor and Google.

Yes, that's the trend in villages like Beuvron-en-Auge, listed among the "Most Beautiful Villages of France" (which are always basically small villages meant to be peaceful). It attracts a lot of tourists, and the restaurants are guaranteed to always have plenty of customers anyway even if they don't make much of an effort with the food and even if there are a few bad reviews online.

Well, something for my wife and I to think about.
We are also seeing Honfleur that day. Perhaps it's better to start in Honfleur, have lunch there then continue on to Beuvron-en-Auge
