Lunch recommendation in Aigues Mortes?

This is after our nature morning in the Camargue this September. Can you recommmend? Read online of a very nice place outside the wallls, misplaced the notes...but open to any suggestions about 20-30E pp. Is Aigues Mortes worth exploring or should lunch be enough?

I wish I could remember the place in Aigues-Mortes that we had lunch at so that I could tell you to avoid it. And when we told the owner of our apartment in Nimes about our experience, he said that he thought most of the restaurants in the walled center are tourist traps. But if you've read about one outside the walls, that might be a good one to look into.
I've been to Aigues Mortes twice, and i think a couple of hours there (besides lunch) is sufficient.

As is my general practice, I allowed time to walk all the streets within the walls, which I enjoyed doing. Most of them were deserted except for me (in May of this year). The tourist office has a map or folder that highlights the most interesting buildings, which makes the wandering around more meaningful.

I don't remember what I ate in A.M., so I guess we can deduce that it was not a memorable meal. I remember seeing a few places more or less along the path between the train station and the town gates, but they didn't look particularly enticing. Perhaps if you look af reviews on TripAdvisor you'll be able to identify the place you read about earlier.
