Any suggestions for a good place to eat lunch in Rouen? We will be driving through from Bayeux to Giverny and spending a few hours in Rouen so need a lunch place that is central to the Cathedral and main part of town and not a long, fancy lunch, just something good and not too touristy. Thanks!
Rue de Gros Horlge has many restaurants both sit down and take away, especially near the intersection with Rue de Joan d' Arc.
We liked the creperie recommended in RS guide book. The crepes were some of the best we've had and the small restaurant is charming. It is in the historic section near the plague memorial.
Thanks Steven and Susan! Do you remember the name of the Creperie by any chance?
Creperie le St Romain is located at 52 rue St Romain--closed Sunday & Monday. I assume it is still in business--our visit was several years ago.
