We're flying into Paris and overnighting before going for a one-week stay in Mallorca. We the return to Paris for a two-week stay. I am considering dropping off a bag some where near to where we will be staying in Paris (just east of Marais). Has anyone used any of the luggage storage services, e.g. Bounce, Luggage Hero?

Yes, although cant remember the name (we used one just south of Notre Dame). We reserved the locker ahead of time. They sent us a code to use. The code is for the door and the locker. I think we reserved several lockers but they turned out to be huge and we could have used just two (for the 5 of us). It was easy.

Do mind the maximum storage periods, which might be shorter than a week.

None of the train station storage facilities holds luggage for days. You'll need to use one of the independent facilities, such as:

I recommend City Locker, mentioned by Tocard. Multiple locations and they will hold the bags for weeks and you have dedicated lockers. Everyone I know who has used the storage companies (and granted that is only two people) that are using space at a local business has been unhappy with the process and service. I also recommend Blue Marble and Shurgard although I used Shurgard for very long term storage of household items during a renovation.
