Luggage on Roissybus

Do you keep your luggage with you on Roissybus or does it go into a cargo compartment down below?
I have not been to Paris in a long time. I lived there for many years.
I am not very mobile and the criticisms of the bus are worrying me. The old bus at Gate 36 was always wonderful.
Thanks for any advice.

I hope someone who takes this bus frequently answers. I have taken it and it was just two city buses linked together and there was no under bus storage but I wonder if that was just my luck or maybe I did not see it. I had only a backpack so I was not really looking for luggage storage but I did see people on the bus bringing larger pieces of luggage. The ride was very bumpy/uncomfortable, BTW. Here is an article about the bus: https://www.about-paris.com/roiissy-bus-to-paris-from-cdg.html. I wonder if you are thinking about the Air France bus which has been discontinued. If you have mobility issues, I hope that you are staying near the bus stop in Paris otherwise taking the bus might not be a great idea.

Roissybus is just a city bus. There is a rack in the middle for luggage (fairly safe since there are no stops after the airport terminals), but you do have to handle luggage yourself, and it is not a particularly comfortable vehicle!
Much less comfortable than the long-gone Cars Air France / Le Bus Direct (casualty of Covid-19).

Taxis between Paris & CDG have fixed fares: 56€ to Opera (and anywhere else north of the river). If you can spare the extra 43€ vs Roissybus, it might be helpful!

Luggage in middle of the the passenger area. Just like the Metro or RER, you have to handle your own luggage. But unlike them you have a little bit of time to get stuff on or off since it is a point-to-point bus where it stops for several minutes at each end. It is my preferred way to get into the city if I am staying anywhere near the end point and I don't find it "uncomfortable" at all.

The Roissey bus is my "go to" when staying near Opera. I have never found the bus uncomfortable - last ride was October 2024. You can pay with credit card these days which I find a plus. I travel with carry-on and purse or small tote so can manage the luggage myself.

If the bus termination point is not convenient or luggage maneuvering is difficult, I would take a taxi. Flat fare these days.
